1. a small community or group of houses in a rural area, larger than a hamlet and usually smaller than a town, and sometimes (as in parts of the U.S.) incorporated as a municipality.

"I'm going to Village today so I'm not available to help move your stuff". 

 

1. creating a miniature community of miniature houses on a tabletop or other hard surface. Involves many hours of

painstaking detail occasionally resulting in alienation of friends and family.

2. the act of engulfing a dining room table with miniature houses and foam mountains to exclusion of its use for

eating and gathering.

cultivating employees of Lowe's so they will save bits and pieces for you

attempting to use other materials for purposes they were not originally intended

saying things such as "what a cool cobweb" "I wonder if that would work for....?"
